Google changes logo

Google Changed Its Logo This Weekend and You Didn't Even Notice. Google has changed a lot for better look and feel for their product and services.
This is not the first time Google changed its logo and it obviously won’t be the last, but Google thinks today’s update is a one of the great reflection of all the platforms Google works for you across like Search, Maps, Gmail, Chrome and many others products. Google think they have taken the best of Google (simple, uncluttered, colorful, friendly), and recast it not just for the Google of today, but for the Google of the future.

A Google logo change isn't unprecedented, though. This adjustment is first noticed by The Reddit thread that typographic adjustment, also put up a point that you can check out the logo's evolution by changing the number at the end of its url.
 Hope you enjoy it!

Facebook launched "Moments" app in India.

NEW DELHI: Social networking giant Facebook said it was introducing a new standalone app called Moments which would enable users to share photos privately.

"Syncing photos with the Moments app is a private way to give photos to friends and get the photos you want. Moments groups the photos on your phone based on when they were taken and, using facial recognition technology, which friends are in them," Facebook said in a release.

"You can then privately sync those photos quickly and easily with specific friends, and they can choose to sync their photos with you as well. Now, you and your friends have all the photos you took together," it said.

The app also has the ability to make beautiful movie compilations of best photos, synchronized to music, that the user can quickly customize and share with friends.

The app was developed in the Facebook Creative Labs and is available for download on Android and iOS platforms.

Smartphone users in India spend 47 % of their day time on communication apps such as Whats App, Hike and Skype which are key driver of mobile broadband usage, says a report.

The report said communication apps have a higher dependency on mobile broadband usage, due to their "always on" status. The report analysed app usage behavior using on-device measurements across several markets, including India, with a particular focus on how messaging and social media apps influence the way people communicate.

The research represents Android smartphone users in India, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and the US. In India, 7,500 Android users were surveyed. The report said across the US, the UK and India, more than 30 % of the time spent on smartphones is spent on communicating apps.

Airtel 4G: Now upgrade your Airtel sim to 4G.

This is how the process works:
1. You will get an SMS asking if you would like to opt for the new service.
2. When you request for a new SIM, Airtel will be trying to deliver it at your address within four hours. Everyone may not get it within four hours, most SIM card seem to be delivered within the same day.
3. To swap the SIM, you need to text the 20-digit number at the back of the new card to 121 prefixing SIM. After accepting the request select 1 to confirm.
4. After few minutes the service on your older SIM will be stopped. Once that happens, insert the new SIM and wait for the network.
5. You will get a message with the new Internet settings. The 4G service is ready to work.
In my case the entire process from the first SMS (step 3) with the SIM swap request taken within 12 minutes. The SIM delivery happened the same day, but not within 4 hours as promised.
These are the steps you nee to follow to upgrade your sim to 4G. Some users will need to upgrade their plans to avail 4G services.

Apple App Store Should Do Better these five things.

Filter out categories in the top rankings.
The issue is to solve when someone is asking for an app but doesn't have a exact things in mind. The discovery  of this act as powerful stuff in shopping.

Allow users to hide apps.
Apple should provide users a feature of hiding apps. As Apple is smart enough to know when you are logged in and which apps you have already installed. The company should provide users the ability to hide annoying or irrelevant apps.
Apple app store

Offer a free trial period.
An option for a developer who creates high-value apps and charges real money for them could be effective. This ensure it would renew hope for more than a handful of high-quality developers.

Create a high profile, dirt-simple time-based refund policy.
The point is, more flexibility for developers and more opportunities to prove trust and worth to customers -- without risk -- is a solution.

Consider the wild card option: subscriptions.
They would help change the nature of the App Store. They would make it more user- and developer-friendly at the same time. They would help fight against annoying ad-supported and freemium app-development tactics that, let's face it, drag down humanity. These changes could help restore a sense of value to apps -- and to the App Store as a discovery vehicle.

Location aware search is added to Google Now...

Users of Google Now in the US and some other countries are able to ask the app about a place without mentioning the name of place. For instance, a person may be standing in front of the Kutab Minar and simply asking "How tall is this?" then Google Now will be able to tell you based on your device's location data.

Google has added this new feature quietly, except to share a few promotional videos. These concluded that users can enquire Google Now basic questions about nearby locations without using any proper name.
For his feature , you have to on your device GPS  and wander near some place that Google has some location and landmarks. You will be able to speak your queries to the Google search app or Chrome on Android or iOS and get a response without using any keywords.
Try it out and let us know in the comments what interesting discoveries you made by using the new feature.

My dream to change the world!

When I was a little guy, I dreamed to change the world.
I found it difficult, so I have tried to change my country.
When I came to know that I couldn't change the nation, I looked for my town. I couldn't change the town alone, I tried to change my family.
Then as a young man, I realized that only thing that I can change is myself, suddenly I realized that if after long time I had changed myself, there was some impact on my family. My family could have made an impact on our town. Our town impact could have changed the nation and I could seriously have changed the world.

Moral:

Everything starts with our self, with making up our mind about what we are going to do with your life.
