India spend 47 % of their day time on communication apps like Whats app

Smartphone users in India spend 47 % of their day time on communication apps such as Whats App, Hike and Skype which are key driver of mobile broadband usage, says a report.

The report said communication apps have a higher dependency on mobile broadband usage, due to their "always on" status.The report analysed app usage behavior using on-device measurements across several markets, including India, with a particular focus on how messaging and social media apps influence the way people communicate.

The research represents Android smartphone users in India, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and the US. In India, 7,500 Android users were surveyed.The report said across the US, the UK and India, more than 30 % of the time spent on smartphones is spent on communicating apps. 

"We found that 40-50 % of data consumption for communication apps uses mobile broadband, whereas the corresponding figure for video is just 20 %," Ericsson said.

This is how the process works:

3. To swap the SIM, you need to text the 20-digit number at the back of the new card to 121 prefixing SIM. After accepting the request select 1 to confirm.

4. After few minutes the service on your older SIM will be stopped. Once that happens, insert the new SIM and wait for the network.

5. You will get a message with the new Internet settings. The 4G service is ready to work.

In my case the entire process from the first SMS (step 3) with the SIM swap request taken within 12 minutes. The SIM delivery happened the same day, but not within 4 hours as promised.

These are the steps you nee to follow to upgrade your sim to 4G. Some users will need to upgrade their plans to avail 4G services.

Apple Pay will be launching in the UK on 14th of July. Customers shall be able to buy goods with their Apple iPhones for the first time.

Apple Pay will use the NFC chips planted in your iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch so that you can pay for goods and services by grasping the device near a card reader, it acts like contact less debit card. We can use Apple Pay to make one-touch purchase within apps.

 Apple Pay can not be used with older iPhones , as  NFC chip is not inbuilt in older version of iPhone. The device must be working iOS 8.1 or later versions. This technology will be used in 250,000 shops at initial phase all around the UK. For instance McDonalds, New Looks, Star bucks, Liberty etc.

Users of Google Now in the US and some other countries are able to ask the app about a place without mentioning the name of place. For instance, a person may be standing in front of the Kutab Minar and simply asking "How tall is this?" then Google Now will be able to tell you based on your device's location data.

When I was a little guy, I dreamed to change the world.

I found it difficult, so I have tried to change my country.

When I came to know that I couldn't change the nation, I looked for my town. I couldn't change the town alone, I tried to change my family.

Then as a young man, I realized that only thing that I can change is myself, suddenly I realized that if after long time I had changed myself, there was some impact on my family. My family could have made an impact on our town. Our town impact could have changed the nation and I could seriously have changed the world.

India will be world's 2nd largest smartphone market by 2017

 According to Analytics, India may take the position of world's second largest smartphone market by 2017 by defeating US who currently holding 2nd position. According to Strategy Analytics,  Smartphone sales are predicted to increase from 1.5 billion units in 2015 to a new record 1.7 billion by 2017 globally.

US, China and the India are the three large countries which helps in growing sales of smartphones globally.

"We estimated global smartphone sales will make a record from 1.5 billion units in 2015 to a record 1.7 billion in 2017," said Mr. Mawston, director at Strategy Analytics.

"India's growth is in smartphone is on boom because of low cost smartphones companies joined the Indian market, consumers shows their keen interest. Local smartphone brands like Lava promoting their brand aggressively," said Linda Sui, director at Strategy Analytics.

Once there was an island where feelings Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love resides.One day someone called the emergency alarm and bewared to the feelings about sinking of island , then all the feeling prepared their boats and moved on. Only one feeling stayed that was Love. Love wished to stop until island would start sinking. When Love was almost sunk, he tried to ask for his help.

Richness came first in a beautiful boat. Love said, “Richness, may I come with you?” Richness replied, “No, I can’t help you as there is no space for you as lots of gold and silver in my boat.

Love determined to ask Proudness who was also going by, “Proudness , please help me!”.  “Sorry! You are already wet and will harm my boat,” Proudness replied.

Sadness was also passing by so Love again asked for help, “Sadness, please help me and take me with you". "I want to go alone as no one can accompany me”, replied by Sadness.

Happiness was passing by too, but he was very happy that he didn't bother about any one!

All of sudden voice came, “Love come to my boat.” It was a Wiseness.. When they reached  land , the elder had gone on her own way. Love asked Wiseness, the name of the feeling who had helped him. “It was Time,” answered Wiseness.

“Time? Why Time shows his interest in saving me?” asked Love.

“It is because only time has the understanding power that how great Love is,” replied Wiseness.

Google Voice Actions can launch Automatically preferred App

The Google Search app v4.0 on Android can acquire knowledge of your preferred apps to perform certain repeated voice actions via 'OK Google' commands that don't specify the app.

Google depicts the new forms in a support document for OK Google voice search and actions on its site, first spotted by Android Police. Once users give the same voice command multiple times and select the same app, Google will learn this is the preferred app for the function, and by default launch the app automatically when the same command is given again.

For example if the user gives an OK Google demand to play a particular song, the smartphone would give app options on a card such as  Google Play Music,YouTube and others apps which support the audio playback feature and have the song. On selecting one of the apps and pressing the play button many times, Google would make it as the default app and would open it every time for the same command. Other commands include 'scan receipts' said by Google.

Users would also be able to remove the automatically launching of preferred apps by entering the text command instead of voice command, and clicking on cancel 'X' icon alongside the default app. Once users do this a few times, Google will no longer launch the app automatically.

Facebook has updated its logo for the first time since 2005.

According to information, this change is only a revitalize of the company's word-mark, which is the text-only version of its logo used for identifying its brand in new way.

Josh Higgins, Facebook's creative director, said that the company aims to bring the logo up to date to make its look and feel more friendly and approachable instead of a full redesign the Facebook.

Two wandering angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a rich family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the luxurious guest room. Instead, the angels were given a small space in the very cold basement. As they made their bed on the harsh floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and fix it. Then the younger angel asked why you repaired, the older angel replied, "Things aren't always what it seem."

The next night, the pair stayed at the house of a very poor family, but very generous farmer and his wife. After sharing what food they all had, they let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's relaxation. The next morning when the sun rose, the angels found the couple in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their only income of source, found dead in the field. The younger angel was annoyed and asked the older angel, How could you have let this happen? The first man had everything and was rude too, yet you helped him," she accused. "The second family had nothing but was ready to share everything that they had, and you let the cow die.

"Things aren't always what they seem," the older angel responded. "When we stayed in the basement of the mansion or luxurious flat , I noticed there was gold repository inside hole. Since the owner was full of greed and unwilling to share his good wealth, I sealed the wall so he couldn't ever find it." "Then last night as we rest in the farmer's bed, the angel of death had come for his wife. I gave her life of cow instead. Things aren't always what it seem." Sometimes, that is exactly what happens when things don't turn out the way it seems they should.

"World is facing a risk of blood-less war, threat of cyber crime, India should take a lead in assuring cyber security", said by P.M. Modi.

The programme includes various initiatives, each aimed to prepare India for becoming a knowledge economy and for bringing good democratic governance to citizens through synchronized and coordinated management of the entire government of India.

The vision of Digital India programme is at extreme growth in areas of electronic, services, product and job opportunities etc.The vision of Digital India has mainly three key points -

(i) Digital Infrastructure to satisfy need of every citizen.

(ii) Governance & services on urgent basis.

(iii) Digital Empowerment of citizens.

Digital Locker System is to minimize the usage of paper documents and empower sharing of e-documents across agencies. The sharing of the e-documents will be done via registered repositories/companies by ensuring the authenticity of the documents, says the Government.

Deity has implemented an initiative namely Digitize India Platform (DIP) for large scale digitisation of records in the country that would help in efficient delivery of services to the citizens.

The Government of India has started an initiative namely Bharat Net, a very high speed digital path to join all 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats of country. This would be the world's largest rural broadband connection project using optical fibre.

"The estimated work time  of Digital India by 2019 would be cross cutting, comprise of rural broadband connectivity in all Gram Panchayats, Wi-fi in schools and universities and Public Wi-Fi hotspots. The programme will produce huge number of IT, Telecom and Electronics jobs in many manner. Success of this programme will take India to Digital empowerment and the leader to top in usage of IT related to various domains such as health, education, agriculture, banking, etc," the Government claims.
