Computer and mobile technology could enable Blind people "See"

Computer scientists and developers are developing new susceptible mobile technology that could help blind and visually-impaired people to ‘see’ through their digital devices or smarts phones. The team aims to use color and depth sensor technology inside new smartphones and tablets, like the recent Project Tango by Google, to enable 3 dimensional mapping, navigation and object recognition.
